the baby care classes birth story

We are Newborn Care Specialists, Sleep Consultants, and Postpartum Doulas, which are pretty fancy words that mean we understand babies and we can help teach you to understand them too!

With over a thousand families supported with guidance, and over 300 families that we’ve supported hands-on between us, we have a deep understanding of newborn care and babies throughout their first year of life. And throughout these countless experiences teaching new parents, we’ve learned how to present information in a way that makes sense!

Information you can trust

Our videos do not follow one philosophy and are not just based on our opinions. We are very clear that even our strongest recommendations are just that; Recommendations. We present evidence-based information so that parents can make informed parenting decisions.

We’ve also worked with a variety of unique family structures and have molded our baby care classes to be inclusive and helpful to all families and their cultures and personal choices.

As a new parent, “You don’t know what you don’t know.” Our goal is to answer your questions about newborn care before you even have the opportunity to ask them.

Over the years as we worked together, we realized that our views and methods for supporting babies aligned perfectly.

We kept hearing from clients how helpful it was to have our advice and expertise at their fingertips. And we knew that we wanted to help more parents than we could with the limitations of only offering local 1-on-1 support. Then when the pandemic hit, and parents were not able to attend their local newborn care classes, we knew we had to step in and fill that void.

Our intention for this course is to support all parents and caregivers, no matter what their parenting style. Baby Care Classes is a judgment-free zone. We have worked with thousands of families and understand that there are countless cultures, backgrounds and personal choices when it comes to parenting.

If your goal is to understand your baby, and to help them be well-rested, well-fed and thriving with tried & true research-based techniques you can trust … then our baby care class series is for you!
